About the NZULM data
What do you mean by "data"?
The information on this page refers to the "raw" data files
that make up the NZULM. These are compliled from our database
and distributed to interested parties on a monthly basis in CSV format.
Who owns the NZULM data?
The NZULM service is owned by the NZ Government and the
content provided by this service is made available, free of charge,
to users and vendors within the NZ Health Sector and to other
interested parties under very permissive licensing terms.
Who would use the raw NZULM data?
NZULM data is intended to provide aggregated foundation information
for the NZ Health Sector, based on a common coding and naming structure
provided by the MZ Medicines Terminology (NZMT)
Users of this data will primarily include software vendors,
analysts, and researchers, but the data is available to anyone with a legitimate need.
Clinicians and other medical professionals will generally
access the NZULM data via some kind of software interface
that provides search and other occupational functions.
